This summer, I have had the opportunity to photograph a number of spectacular sunsets. I am fortunate that I live very near some great sunset viewing locations! It always amazes me how different each one can be. The colors, the clouds…nature is so wonderful!
So, here for your viewing pleasure, are some of my best sunset photos from this summer.

Earlier this month, we took a vacation to Florida. We went to Disney World, Sea World and Gatorland. I’d been looking for an opportunity to use my new camera (the weather here at home has been less than cooperative for getting outdoors and taking photos) and this trip definitely fit the bill!

I’m not really a fan of winter, I’ll admit. I’ve lived in Michigan all my life, so really, I just have to suck it up and get over it. I think Old Man Winter is trying to sway my dislike this year. He’s produced some beautiful winter scenes for me that are thawing my icy heart.
How can you not like winter just a little bit when you wake up to your world looking like this?
I had an impromptu session with Tagan and Nick (and their adorable dog, Pluto) today. We didn’t have a lot of time to do this but we we made it work and it was a lot of fun! The weather even cooperated, which is saying a lot seeing as Michigan weather can be so unpredictable.
Last night I had an awesome session with Keith and Amanda, who are getting married next year!
